How to say "remember" in Spanish

"To remember" in Spanish is recordar. In the present tense the o becomes ue, so I remember is recuerdo and No lo recuerdo means I don't remember it. In everyday speech you'll also hear acordarse de: ¿Te acuerdas de mí?

No de after recordar

Recuerdo tu nombre. With acordarse, add de: Me acuerdo de tu nombre.

Lo goes first

Lo recuerdo. I remember it. In the negative, no comes before lo: No lo recuerdo.

It also means remind

With a person, recordar means to remind: Te recuerdo que hay clase mañana. I'm reminding you there's class tomorrow.

Recordar isn't reflexive here. The reflexive verb for remembering is acordarse.
