Delete Your Account In-App
You can delete your account directly from the app by following these steps:
Open the Wordy app on your device
Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
Confirm your decision when prompted
What Data Will Be Deleted
The following data will be permanently deleted from our servers:
Deletion Timeframe: Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.
Data Retention Policy
After you delete your account:
- No personal data is retained - All your personal information is permanently deleted from our servers
- Analytics data - Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (e.g., "a user watched 5 videos") may be retained for statistical purposes, but cannot be linked back to you
- Legal compliance - We may retain certain data if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes), but only for the legally mandated period
Can't Access the App?
If you're unable to delete your account through the app (e.g., you lost access to your device or uninstalled the app), you can request account deletion via email.
Send an email to info@appalex.hu with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request - Wordy"
- Your registered email address
- Any additional information to help us identify your account
We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
